Since picking up his first racket at 7 in Kent, the UK, he has been passionate about the sport. He was a member of the Neville Lawn Tennis Club, where he progressed through the junior performance squads and competed in country and regional tournaments. He also won club championship titles and represented his university in singles and doubles events.
Charlie competed for various London clubs in high divisions before becoming a full-time tennis coach in Singapore. He has coached players at all levels, including performance juniors and Ladies Tennis Singapore and Women’s International Tennis Singapore teams.
He has experienced firsthand what players at each stage need to progress and succeed. But he also believes that tennis is first and foremost a sport to enjoy and that it benefits all, including those with sensitive needs, as a social game. Whatever your age, experience or ability, he always strives to tailor lessons to suit you, so you get the most out of your time on the court.
